    Research in our laboratory focuses on the structural studies of plant proteins, peptides and natural products. Major ongoing research activities are, (i) Crystallographic structural studies of plant proteins, especially enzymes involved in plant secondary metabolite pathways (ii) Developing co-crystallization methods to enhance the bio-availability of natural product drug candidates (iii)Structure and folding of synthetic polypeptides containing non-natural amino acids (iv) Mass spectrometric identification and sequencing of biologically active plant peptides in medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs).
